Play dynamic chess and fight for the full point vs 1.e4
Supercharge your results with the Najdorf!
The Najdorf has long been the holy grail for ambitious players: dynamic, aggressive, and objectively one of the strongest defenses against 1.e4. But for most club players, the endless, unforgiving maze of theory kept it just out of reach.
That stops today.
After Supercharging the Grünfeld in his critically acclaimed Chessable course, Alex ‘Chessforlife’ Belsley is back — and this time, he’s taking on the Najdorf.
And he’s done it again! Alex has built an ambitious & highly practical Najdorf repertoire — simple enough for any club player to learn, and built to stand up at the GM level.
Quickly master the Najdorf without drowning in theory
Say goodbye to countless theoretical variations — 300 trainable lines is all you need to confidently take on 1.e4 (yes, really!)
Through cutting-edge analysis and clever line selection, Alex delivers a streamlined Najdorf repertoire that retains the dynamism and strength for which the Najdorf is feared and revered.
Here are some key positions:

Against 6.Bg5, the most ambitious and testing line against the Najdorf,
your approach will usually revolve around
the Delayed Poisoned Pawn Variation −
a line famously played by MVL and other top players.

Against most of White’s other 6th moves,
including 6. Be3, you will be playing 6…e5.

You’ll also learn how to fight Anti-Sicilians. Against the Moscow with 3.Bb5+,
the most challenging Anti-Sicilian, you will play the objectively strongest reply
3…Bd7, and then if White captures, you’ll not capture with the knight,
but with the queen!

If White plays the Closed Sicilian and opts for a fianchetto,
you’ll set up your own kingside fianchetto and then delay developing the g8-knight
to see whether White plays f4 immediately or not.
If they do, you’ll place your knight on e7.
If they don’t, then usually …Nf6 is better.
Let’s recap what you’ll get in this course:
🔵 Ambitious, top-tier lines including the dynamic Delayed Poisoned Pawn variation
No gimmicks, no second-rate lines — only the strongest mainlines you can play for years to come
🔵 Powerful antidotes to the Anti-Sicilians dismantling the Moscow, Grand Prix Attack, Alapin, and every other sideline White can try
