The starting position of the Rossolimo arises after 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5

The Rossolimo is a rich opening containing many different strategies. The Rossolimo is the best practical choice for White, while it’s theoretically equal to 3.d4 (which requires much more theoretical knowledge).
Black has many acceptable systems, and with this lecture, we will begin by examining the different strategies White has at his disposal against each of them.
