Ambitious, Sound, and Underplayed – the Tarrasch Defense
Modern opening theory has left us with few undiscovered gems. Those that do not get much attention usually have the reputation as being dubious.
Then there’s the Tarrasch…
It’s an attacking opening that fights for central space and piece activity. The rare combination of a sound yet attacking opening makes the Tarrasch well worthy of becoming your primary defense against 1.d4.
And why not? This forgotten gem is starting to receive the attention it deserves from the up-and-coming new wave of chess stars, such as D. Gukesh, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, and the author himself, Jorden van Foreest.
And now you can adopt the Tarrasch with the first Lifetime Repertoire on the opening.
What you get inside:
♛ An enterprising repertoire that will have you fighting for a win from the beginning
♛ A dynamic space advantage leading to thrilling tactical battles with your isolated queen pawn
♛ Innovative pawn sacrifices
♛ Full coverage of all White’s sidelines, including the London and the Jobava London
♛ And much more
The Number-2 Ranked Dutch Player Proudly Presents the Tarrasch
The author Grandmaster Jorden Van Foreest is a young promise in the chess world who is always on the lookout for underrated openings that offer winning chances.

I have tried a few free and paid repertoire courses but I continued to face a challenge with them
Ryker (verified owner) –
he would cover all possible silly reactions that could derail my well-thought opening, and how to deal with them
Isaac (verified owner) –
For taking all the fun out of my chess games. I never thought anybody would be cruel enough to make winning so easy that chess has become boring.
Tyler (verified owner) –
Another problem I faced was during my well-planned opening, sometimes opponent would bring the queen out

At this level this course covers a sweet spot.

Really good course
Avery (verified owner) –
Now that I don’t need to invest much energy in the opening phase, I can concentrate on improving my middle and endgame play.

Also, this course is not aimed at advanced and master level therefore; it didn’t overwhelmed me with things that I don’t need to worry about at my level.
