Mauricio Flores Rios is a grandmaster from Chile. He achieved the title at 18, and is a regular member of Chile’s Olympic team. Mauricio combines his career as a chess player and trainer with his PhD studies in Mathematics at the University of Minnesota.

Peter Heine Nielsen is a Danish grandmaster. As a player he peaked at 2700 but he is most well-known as the head coach of Vishy Anand and Magnus Carlsen, spending a combined 15+ years as “the coach of the World Champion”.
