Yekaterinburg, Russia – From March 16 to April 5, 2020. Eight of the world’s finest players will slug it out in a double round-robin contest, fighting for the right to challenge the world champion.

Course will include exclusive Game of the Day analysis video by GM Pentala Harikrishna added after each round.

Fabiano Caruana, Ding Liren, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Wang Hao, Alexander Grischuk, Ian Nepomniatchi, Anish Giri, and Kirill Alekseenko will all do battle over the board in the most intense event in chess.

But the “meat and potatoes” of the course immediately follow: Strategy and tactics exercises taken from every round of the Candidates 2020 tournament. Exercises that train your ability to find and capitalize on winning opportunities.

Many of the exercises are standard tactics and combinations. Others, however, demand that you actively defend and counterattack.

In some cases, you must find the simplest winning idea, like pushing a queenside majority, or exchanging your way to an easily winning pawn endgame.
