Andrew Martin – A Waiting Game in the Queen’s Indian 7…Na6 in 60min

The Queen’s Indian remains as popular as ever and 4 g3 is White’s most common counter. Modern masters recognize the need to set new problems for the opponent and so, because the theory of 4…Ba6 is growing, Black is looking for other avenues. This 60 minutes concentrates on the classical 1 d4 Nf6 2 c4 e6 3 Nf3 b6 4 g3 Bb7!, but with a new twist! In the main line Black will play a waiting game after 5 Bg2 Be7 6 0-0 0-0 7 Nc3 Na6!? DIAGRAM.
